Overview

Marvin Harder was a political science professor at the University of Kansas who also served as special assistant for policy review and coordination for Kansas Gov. Robert Docking. This collection is comprised of records pertinent to his service in the Docking administration, including clipping scrapbooks as well as files on issues related to education, professional negotiations, and state highways.

Overview The papers of Robert B. Docking, governor of Kansas from 1967-1974, date from approximately 1955 to 1981 and reflect his official duties and activities as well as some of his campaign activities and personal endeavors. This includes correspondence with Kansas state agencies and departments, constituents, and state Democratic party officials.
